Transportation to the area of your parked car after regular closing hours at Plaza Las Americas
San Juan, Puerto Rico - Plaza Las Americas recently inaugurated a new trolley at PLAZA, which provides transportation around the shopping center after regular closing time that will enable customers to get closer to where they have parked. The service is free and available seven days a week.
"Sometimes, our customers end their shopping late at night or end a shopping trip by dining at one of our restaurants or going to the movies, which can make trying to reach their vehicles difficult after regular mall hours. This new service assists our customers, many of whom have to walk with packages in hand, because the 'trolley' takes them to a stop near their parked car," said Iris Ayala, Marketing Director of Plaza Las Americas.
Trolley Service hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Friday and Saturday from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM, and Sundays from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Passengers may be picked up and dropped off at any of the stops. The route starts at the Banco Popular de Puerto Rico and U.S. Post Office entrance and continues along to the JCPenney entrance facing the North parking deck prior to the marquee. Next it advances to the South mall restaurant entrance by the parking deck next to Macy's, advancing from there to the front of the Center to the main entrance of the Mall, where BBVA and First Bank are located, continuing to P.F. Chang's China Bistro for a final stop.
The bus can accommodate 20-22 people, with space for two wheelchairs for disabled persons and a motorized ramp to facilitate their access. The PLAZA Trolley is free to PLAZA customers and is operated by Valera Parking Systems.
